I have a real interest in people and with the world being so big it looks like my interest will be satisfied for a while yet! Learning is in abundance when it comes to travelling as the opportunity to explore different cultures and languages provides you with an education you just can’t get in the classroom. Being able to learn about destinations, discovering little gems that Party Leaders appreciate for their educational value and planning out the trip provides me with a great sense of satisfaction. I take these principles into my own travels and recently took a road trip from New Orleans to Phoenix, via Texas and the Grand Canyon, driving over 3,000 miles in 3 weeks. It was an incredible experience which has fuelled my love of travel even more!
Favourite city: That’s a difficult one, but I think I’d have to say New Orleans. The atmosphere is electric and wherever you go you can hear amazing music. Cajun and Creole food is delicious and the beignets are a must try!
About me: I’m always searching for a new hobby whether it be counting to 10 (and therefore 99) in Mandarin or teaching myself to knit. I can make a pretty yarn good scarf so my next aim is a jumper!
