Why go on an inspection visit?

Guests will be able to explore the local area, stay in the accommodation and test the subject-led activities and excursions that have been detailed for school groups. You'll also get the chance to meet some of the Travelbound team and other teachers from your subject too.

We think this sort of opportunity allows relationships to develop within a relaxed environment. It also helps our team to find out what teachers really would like from school group travel.

We also arrange individual IV's to anywhere in the world! All you have to do is fund your own travel expenses and we will cover 2 nights B&B accommodation (subject to booking confirmation and availability).

"Iceland is an essential destination for geography teachers and students. Every moment of the trip was enjoyable, and the organisation was faultless.

The landscape is being created (and destroyed) before your eyes - this is geography in the raw.

Experience water flowing, falling, steaming and freezing.

Whether it's the Northern Lights in winter or the Midnight Sun in summer, the light and clean air make for an amazing sensory experience, tinged from time to time with the eggy smell of sulphur.

Floating in the Blue Lagoon, staring up at pink steam rising from fumaroles against the blue sky, with a pint of cold Gull lager in your hand was a great way to be introduced to the island.

One visit and I'm hooked."
