Conservation in Action
Costa Rica is one of the biologically wealthiest nations in the world. From the forested slopes of its volcanoes to the coral reefs off both coasts. During the last few decades, more and more the country has come to realise what an important part of their national heritage biodiversity is. They have consequently created an exemplary National Conservation System to ensure the survival of endangered species and a National Biodiversity Institute to catalogue and study the country's flora and fauna. That is why we call our unique 9 day tour "Conservation in Action". Prices start at £1444. We also have a "Turtles and Trees" conservation project. Contact us for more details.
School Travel - Costa Rica, Caribbean
The citizenship content of this programme is closely linked with the environmental work. Being part of the turtle conservation project will allow students to work alongside local staff members and contribute to the everyday preservation of the area. Students will have the opportunity to integrate and learn about the conservation issues, local cultures and communities of Caribbean Costa Rica.
