This is an outstanding adventure and environmental programme. Groups will be able to study rivers, mountains and Himalayan agricultural systems. Groups will have opportunities to learn about Nepalese communities whilst also taking part in a safe and introductory trek in the foothills.
Himalayas and Chitwan : Citizenship & Learning Skills
When trekking through the Shivapuri Hills students will be able to engage with members of the local community in order to learn about the Nepalese way of life and local customs. A visit to Chitwan National Park allows students to experience the rich diversity of the natural setting.

There are many important parts of this school trip that compliment the Religious Education Curriculum. Students will have the opportunity to visit many temples including the Swayambunath where both Buddhism and Hinduism are practised. Nepal is a classic destination to see how different belief systems live side by side.
