  • Ouarzazate

    Heading up into the High Atlas Mountains, students have a chance to appreciate a range of landscapes, from flourishing vegetation to desert. This is an interesting opportunity for students to understand the effects of geographical contrasts and how they impact upon the lives of local people.

  • Ourika

    The valley of Ourika, typical of the High Atlas is particularly green throughout the year. Crossed by the Ourika River, this excursion allows you to discover the high peaks of the Atlas Mountains that surround the valley. Visit the Berber villages on the way.

  • Lalla Takerkoust

    Students on this excursion can investigate the impact of the hydroelectric dam on the environment and economy of the surrounding area. This visit provides an opening to evaluate the importance of sustainability and how it can be implemented into the lifestyles of the community.

  • Toubkal National Park

    This fantastic national park enables students to explore the natural environment of Morrocco and examine issues such as conservation and tourism.

  • Ouzod Waterfalls

    These natural marvels are approximately 150km east of Marrakech and are the most famous waterfalls in the whole of Morocco. At 110m high, the water falls on several landings throwing fine drops into the air creating a beautiful rainbow.

  • A Day in the Life of a Berber

    This is part of our "Sustainable Tourism" initiative. Students can visit a Berber's home and learn about water carrying, mint picking, henna painting, carpet weaving, lunch preparation and parking a donkey!

  • Bedouin Dinner

    Students can experience a traditional meal within a Bedouin tent complete with entertainment and charging horsemen in tribal costume.

  • Menara Gardens

    Located in Marrakech the Menara Gardens is like an oasis in the busy city. Originally built in the 12th century, the gardens feature orchards of palm trees, fruit trees and olive trees, as well as irrigation canals and an artificial lake. The pavilion overlooking the lake offers a beautiful view of the gardens and the snowcapped Atlas Mountains in the distance.
