Skyline Hotel
Location: This hotel is situated on 10th Avenue and 49th Street in mid-town Manhattan, not far from the busy theatre district.
Facilities: Rooms are attractively furnished, with TV and full private facilities. Prices are based on four people sharing two double beds. There is also an indoor swimming pool (normally available evenings during the week and daytime at weekends) with sauna and exercise equipment, a restaurant and bar.
Capacity: 230 rooms.
Hostelling International
Location: Situated near Central Park and Columbia University, the hostel is in a historic Victorian Gothic-style building on Upper West Side.
Facilities: Café/bar, garden, restaurant, common room, TV and games room, luggage store, internet access, air-conditioning and laundry facilities. The rooms are clean and modern, with separate male/female accommodation of four to six beds and shared bathrooms in the hallway. Linen, towels and a housekeeping service are provided free of charge. Private rooms with bathrooms are also available.
Capacity: 624 beds.
Chelsea International Hostel
Location: The Chelsea International Hostel is located in the historic Chelsea District of Manhattan. Just north of Greenwich Village and south of Midtown Manhattan
Facilities: There are 2 common dining areas, 2 fully equipped kitchens and a recreation room. The hostel provides linen, (but not towels) lockers (padlock needed), free hot drinks, internet access and two types of dormitory sleeping areas.
Capacity: 350 beds
