Noordwijk: Geography

Noordwijk: Geography

[Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, Key Stage 5 - A Level]

Noordwijk-Binnen is a typical Dutch seaside resort and the wide sandy beaches give way to agricultural fields. The surrounding area has long been an important part of the regional bulb flower industry and sand dunes have been transformed into fields for the cultivation of bulb flowers. This is a great opportunity for students to study how the physical geography of a region can effect the local economy.
