    Students will have the opportunity to learn French from native speakers at our Château du Molay.

  • Traditional French Markets

    After the lessons, the practice! Send your students into the charming markets and towns of Normandy to negotiate and gain confidence in their use of practical French.

  • Young Reporter

    For a more structured learning experience, this thematic project allows students to interview local people on an agreed theme. They can practice their vocabulary, gain confidence and learn about the lives of French people.

    • Musée Du Débarquement

      This museum allows students to explore the D-Day landings from a number of perspectives: technological, strategic and not least, personal, deepening students' understanding of the landings.

    • Omaha Beach Cemetery

      Students are brought face-to-face with the effects of the war, giving them a sense of the scale of death while stimulating them to think about the effects of the war on those left behind.

    • Caen Memorial

      Both a memorial and museum, student groups can understand not only the military side of World War II, but also begin to reflect on the implications for the post-War quest for peace in Europe.

    • Bayeux Tapestry

      The events of 1066 had a profound effect on British history, reverberating down to this day. By putting the invasion into context, students can understand what happened and why, as well as evaluating the importance of this event today.

    • Château de Crèvecoeur

      This medieval Château gives students an insight into everyday life in medieval times for ordinary people. Students are exposed to a way of life they might never otherwise see or understand.
