Table Mountain
Your group can climb (or catch the cable car) to the top of the iconic Table Mountain where you will be rewarded with commanding views over Cape Town and the meeting of the oceans.
Surfing Lessons
While soaking up the beach culture, students will be given a professional surfing lesson on how to stand up on a board and catch the blue waves of the Indian Ocean.
Slangkop Nature Reserve
This is a reserve which promotes conservation of the wildlife of South Africa. Students can learn about the native creatures and see penguins and seals in their natural environment. There will also be lots of interesting presentations about wildlife and conservation including a talk by Chris Fallows, one of the world's leading shark experts.
Active trips
Students can go on a baboon hike to the Cape Peninsula and also take a boat ride to see seals in the their natural habitat.

- Citizenship & Learning Skills
Helping local children
Students will be encouraged to interact with local children by taking them to the rock pools and lighthouse at Kommetjie. There will also be a chance for your students take the children from the surrounding townships for a day out at the Camp Parmalat assault course.
Community Projects
Two days will be spent in the townships helping to brighten the future for local South Africans. Activities include painting local schools and community centres and helping out wherever needed.
Educational Talk and Discussions
Students will receive a talk about South African life and the challenges facing the South African community. There will be a further educational talk about the HIV/Aids epidemic in South Africa - a major challenge for the country. Students will have the opportunity to ask any questions and relate what they have learned to their citizenship coursework.
Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront
This will provide a great opportunity to relax and explore the colourful city's local shops and cafes.
