Safe AdventuresHelp with Risk Assessments

Our Risk Assessments

All of the locations, accommodation and activities that we offer have been assessed for risk by a member of our senior management team. These formal appraisals have been made to ensure that you can be safe in the knowledge that every possible precaution has been taken to ensure your group's safety and protection at all times.

Risk assessments are made at the start of each new season and are reviewed straight away after any significant change that we feel needs to be checked out such as: environmental, personnel or any other noteworthy incident.

Your Risk Assessments

As a group leader you will also need to complete your own risk assessment form. If you click on the link below it will take you directly to our risk assessment advice page that offers information, forms and completed examples.

Tips and Advice for Group Leaders

We aim to make the planning of your trip as easy as possible, so we've compiled some useful tips to assist you. Below are a couple of top tips that we hope will make your school trip run smoothly:

  • Before you go take photocopies of passports and other important documents and keep these separate from the originals when you travel and/or store them online using a secure data storage site.
  • When you are away store useful numbers on your mobile such as the Travelbound emergency number. Also, check with your service provider to make sure your phone works abroad.

Travelbound's service and safety commitment, passionate and knowledgeable team, fantastic choice of destinations and educational tours speak for themselves. However, why don't you have a look at the customer comments below made by people like you:

Ms Jennifer Simms, China Tour.

"The school's first trip to China with 44 students and staff was a complete success, with children asking when I was organising the next trip even before we had landed at Heathrow! Travelbound helped us to develop an individualised itinerary, enabling us to spend more time at our partner school in Nanjing, and ensured that the trip was an amazing experience for students and staff alike."
