• As befitting a city that is melting pot of the old and new, Berlin and its surroundings offers a vast range of performance opportunities. Bands can perform in dedicated spaces in Spandau, a Borough of Berlin from which Spandau Ballet took their name.  Choirs can choose from the Kaiser Wilhelm Gedachtniskirche, the Berliner Dom, St Nikolaikirche in Potsdam and many more. For large orchestras, the ornate spa hall at Bad Schmeideberg offers an excellent stage. Other churches, halls and bandshells are available too.

    Perform...

    • St Georges Church - Built in 1950 near the Olympic Stadium, it was originally a Garrison Church for the British Military. The military badges on the pews today bear witness to this.
    • Kaiser Wilhelm Gedachtniskirche - The original neo-Romanesque church was badly bombed in 1943 and was replaced by a very contemporary version.  The damaged spire of the old church remains alongside it, distinguishing the church with its conflicting architectural features
    • Thomaskirche - Mass participation is possible at this famous church in Leipzig, where Bach composed for many years.
