What do we do?

Our qualified staff members carry out full safety audits of all of the components within your chosen tour. Therefore, we "assess the risks" within the accommodation, transportation, excursion and attraction venues to ensure the environments you will use are safe.

Your local education authority requires a risk assessment to be completed to gain permission to facilitate a school trip.

You may wish to mention to your LEA our affiliation and compliance with the School Travel Forum in order to highlight our reputation as a dependable company, in addition to our stringent adherence to annual audits to maintain safety compliance.

What do you do?

As each group is different we need you to assess the risks that could be specific to your group. These may include: special needs, disabilities, medical ailments, allergies, behavioural issues or most commonly, the age of your students.

6 Simple Steps to Completing Your Own Risk Assessments:

  1. Check for hazards within the accommodation, excursions and transportation.
  2. Identify who may be at risk from the hazard.
  3. Look at ways the risks can be controlled.
  4. Record what you found on your Risk Assessment Form.
  5. Implement control measures for reducing the risk.
  6. Enjoy your trip knowing all risks have been effectively managed.

Below is a Generic Risk Assessment form. You can use this to help create your own specific Risk Assessment which will cater for your group's individual needs.
