Language Assignment                                                       

Ideal for Key Stage 3

Our in-resort assignment combines language lessons from qualified language schools with ‘out and about' assignments. All assignments are task based, strengthening lessons learnt within the classroom session, and aim to provide a degree of self sufficiency in understanding money, exploring a market or shopping for food.

Includes morning language lessons, a Certificate for each student & worksheets on CD Rom.

Young Reporter   

Ideal for Key stage 4

The concept is to place the student in the role of reporter and is linked closely in line with GCSE thinking. ‘Young Reporters' work in small teams to research a theme before conducting interviews with local people. All material is then reviewed and the best interviews interpreted back at the hotel. The final report can take a variety of forms reflecting both the aims of the individual teams and their linguistic ability, for example, advanced level students could aim to produce a report in the style of a newspaper or magazine article.

Host Families       

Great for any Key Stage                                                  

This accommodation option combines language lessons with the day-to-day immersion that comes from living with a host family. Students will discover the culture of their chosen country using their language skills in a practical environment over dinner and during their stay.  Full immersion into a host family's home requires maturity and communication skills. During their stay students keep a journal and also receive a certificate of completion.
