  • Chateau Melník

    About 20 minutes from Prague is the beautiful town of Mlník. The château has some great examples of Baroque architecture, furniture and décor whilst tours of the underground wine cellar are worthwhile for school groups.

  • Kutná Hora

    Take a day trip from Prague to discover some excellent examples of Gothic architecture and an extremely poignant memorial to the dead.

  • Prague Folklore Evening

    An organised evening out provides a great chance to eat, dance and be merry. School groups can try the local food whilst watching a traditional Czech dance and listening to typical live music.

  • Collonade Spa Karlovy Vary

    Concert at Collonade in ML could be combined with visit to Castle Kynzvart / sightseeing of ML / meal in local restaurant or hotel Krakonos that could be reached by funicular. There is a singing fountain in Marianske Lazne - a unique wonder. It´s in operation from May to October.

  • Mucha Museum

    Alphonse Mucha was a pivotal figure in the Art Nouveau movement in Paris, but his work continued in a different, patriotic vein on his return to Prague in 1910. Students can trace the different purposes and themes running through the course of his artistic development.

  • Museum of Decorative Arts

    A wide range of art is exhibited here from: antique fabrics, to mediaeval tapestries, to twentieth century glassworks allowing students the chance to explore the range of creative possibilities across a diverse section of media.

  • National Gallery

    Formed in the 18th century and with an extensive collection, this gallery was founded by intellectuals in an attempt to educate the Czech population with patriotic art. This allows students to think critically about how gallery philosophies affect collections.
