  • Damm Factory

    This factory is situated near Barcelona in El Prat de Llobregat. It is the most modern beer factory in Europe. Brewing is an intricate, eight-stage process that takes four weeks to complete and during which the drink gradually acquires its final characteristics. Visits take place in the mornings from Monday to Friday throughout the whole year, except August or trade fairs. They start with a video in English and the visit continues with a walk through the facilities of the factory including beer production, quality controls, timings and robotics. 

  • Nutrexpa Food Factory

    A visit to this large factory will inform students of how different types of food are stored, processed, packaged, labeled and shipped. The large Spanish food company offers tours for Business Students to educate them on each development process. 

  • Torras Chocolate Factory

    This interesting tour includes the process of making chocolate, from sourcing the initial ingredients to how it is packaged and labeled, along with the history of the company and the development of the business. Free chocolate tasting included! 

  • Font D’Or Mineral Water

    Discover the history of the bottled water company and take a visit to the factory where the product is bottled and packed. Learn about the labeling and recycling processes along with the development of the company. 

  • SEAT Factory

    Students are offered a remarkable guided tour around this huge factory which manufactures cars and employs over 10,000 staff every year. In 2006, over 16 million cars had been produced with two thirds of the annual production being exported to over seventy countries worldwide. 

  • Anis de Mono Distillery

    The 130 year old company offers students an insight into the history of the company, its production and its development as a business both economically and financially. 

  • Port of Barcelona

    This beautiful port has a 2000 year history and contains great commercial importance. It is Europe's 9th largest container port with a trade volume of 2.57 million in 2008 and covers an area of 7.86 km2

  • Pasta Factory

    A visit to a traditional pasta factory informs students of the process of making pasta and its packaging techniques. Students are even allowed to try out the process themselves.

    This High Street retailer has to remain on the cutting edge of fashion while offering clothes that have wide appeal. Find out how they identify, design and produce clothes for the appropriate markets.

  • La Vanguardia

    Catalonia's leading newspaper combines a competitive business model with a commitment to its readers to maintain high journalistic and ethical standards. Students can discover how La Vanguardia produces a new edition every day, by visiting their HQ.

  • Torres Vineyards

    Students can see how even the most traditional business operation can be organised using modern techniques and technology to maintain a competitive edge. Students can also see how businesses dictate and respond to local factors so as to integrate with the landscape.

  • La Borsa

    The Stock Exchange is open for visits by school tours, so that they can see the real business of trading of shares. This provides a great opportunity to note the influences on the market while identifying the importance of this activity in national and world economies.
