  • RBB: Broadcasting Headquarters

    A behind the scenes look at the TV and radio studios once used as a transmitting station by the Russians. The tour offers an insight into the daily workings of the studios, where it is possible to see filming taking place.

  • KOM Porcelain

    Students can see how the ceramic material is made by heating raw materials in a kiln to temperatures between 1,200 °C and 1,400 °C. Porcelain is used to make table, kitchen, sanitary and decorative pieces and its high resistance to the passage of electricity makes porcelain a brilliant insulator. Learn the manufacturing developments from its initial design to the finished piece.

  • Rundfunk Berlin

    The studios are famous for producing many German interview and quiz shows throughout history. Students are informed on the course of action taken on a daily basis in the studios to ensure smooth running of the shows. Along with learning about the studios and the company, students are able to take note of the filming process.

  • Coca Cola Enterprises

    Also known as Coke, the carbonated soft drink is the most popular drink in the world, being sold in over 200 countries and with 50 bottles being purchased every second worldwide. Students can visit the 2nd biggest Coca Cola factory in Europe and see how the drink is made, stored, bottled and canned, designed and labelled, and marketed and shipped.

  • Daimler – Benz

    Daimler is the company which produces engines and car components for the Mercedes Car Group. Students can take a tour that covers the account of the company, its history, processes involved in the business, and students can even see how automobile components are created.

  • Berliner Pilsner

    See how this German beer is produced and how it adapts to and shapes the tastes of its target market through using modern technological processes to make and maintain the quality of its product.

  • Axel Springer Publishing

    Axel Springer is one of Berlin's major employers with over 12,000 workers in the city. Visit the state-of-the-art printing press in Spandau where the company publishes newspapers such as Berliner Morgen Presse and BZ. The visit includes a tour of the printing plant and a talk with one of the staff.

  • BMW Motorcycles

    Visit the plant and experience how this world famous and highly recognised company, BMW, builds motorcycles in Berlin. There is a lot of highly interesting information to gather and unique sights within the plant.

  • Berlin Airports

    Tours are available at the former Tempelhof Airport (one of Berlin's most impressive landmarks) and also Schonefield Airport - 2 tours are available here. 1 "Construction site experience" tour starts in airportworld, goes via the Infotower and ends with a tour of the Berlin Brandenburg Airport construction site. 2 "Airport experience", starts in the existing terminal of Schoenefeld Airport, giving all airport fans on the tour a good insight into airport life.

    Facilities: The renovated factory building contains mainly dorms (4-6 or 8 beds) with or without private facilities and double bedrooms with private facilities. 5000 sq metre of outdoor facilities around the building offer facilities for table tennis, beach volleyball, lawn with barbeque area.
