  • Kazimierz Ghetto

    The Jewish ghetto during WWII featured in the film Schindler's List. The synagogues that were damaged during WWII have since been restored and there is also a Jewish museum.

  • Auschwitz-Birkenau

    The experience of a visit to this camp is an essential part of understanding the awful human cost of the Holocaust and its enduring impact. Students are confronted with the realities of the death camps, while exhibitions trace the development of Nazi genocide against the Jews.

  • Jewish Museum

    At the heart of the former Krakow ghetto is a museum detailing the lives and experiences of Jews throughout Krakow's history. It helps students understand that Jewish culture can be approached from a number of perspectives, without ignoring that of the Holocaust.
