• Shakespeare Centre Library

    All aspects of Shakespeare's life and works are contained within this library including: books, theatre records and original editions of his plays. This is a great opportunity for students of English Literature to develop and practise research techniques and methods of gathering information.

  • Stratford Brass Rubbing Centre

    In Medieval times churches, halls and castles throughout England contained a wealth of brassware that had been shaped and engraved by skilled craftsmen. Plaques, armour and fireplace adornments depicted family heritage, professions & trades. The Stratford brass rubbing centre contains a unique selection of brassware which enables your pupils to find out more and practice the skill of brass rubbing.

  • Holy Trinity Church

    This 13th century parish church is probably the most visited in England thanks, in part, to its connections to William Shakespeare. This was where Stratford's most famous son was baptised, served as a lay rector and was finally buried alongside his wife Anne Hathaway. The church is still a thriving place of worship and the grounds present a peaceful oasis of calm away from the bustling streets.

  • Falstaff's Experience

    Historic houses and cobbled stones all have stories to tell and your pupils will be thoroughly immersed in the 16th century as they encounter the Falstaff Experience. Museums, theatrical shows and spooky ghost tours help pupils to find out more about Stratford and the Tudors. 

  • Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC)

    The RSC in Stratford perform in three separate theatres providing an elaborate range of drama and performance art. Pupils will be able to experience Shakespeare's plays as they were originally intended as well as having the opportunity to take part in some drama workshops themselves.

  • Shakespeare's Properties

    Visit the five houses connected with William Shakespeare and his family including: Shakespeare's birthplace, Dr John Hall's croft, Anne Hathaway's cottage and Mary Arden's farm. The properties contain exhibits, artefacts and information about previous inhabitants and their connections to Shakespeare.

  • Shakespeariance

    This is a highly enjoyable and entertaining approach to detailing the life and works of William Shakespeare. The audience is taken on a ground-breaking virtual reality experience complete with special effects and actors. Educational workshops including drama and costume design are available upon request.
