Day 1

Flight to Keflavik approximately 3 hours
Coach transfer to the Blue Lagoon
Coach transfer to Reykjavik
Evening meal included. Overnight in Reykjavik

Day 2

Breakfast and packed lunch included
Take in visits to Hellisheið Power Plant, Þingvellir National Park and the Almannagja fault
Spend the afternoon at Kerið crater, Gulfoss waterfalls and Geysir area
Evening meal included. Overnight in the Hvolsvollur area

Day 3

Breakfast and packed lunch included
Take in the Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls
Explore the Sólheimajökull Glacier and Vik beaches
Evening meal included. Overnight in Reykjavik

Day 4

Breakfast and packed lunch included
Reykjavik city sightseeing
Coach transfer to Keflavik airport. Flight to New York
Evening meal (own arrangement)

Day 5

Statue Cruise taking in the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
Visit 9/11 Memorial Plaza, Financial District, and Skyscraper Museum
Evening meal (own arrangement)

Day 6

Explore the Tenement Museum
Walk the High Line and head for Midtown shopping district, including Macy's
Evening meal (own arrangement) before visiting the Empire State Building

Day 7

Museum of the City of New York
Explore Central Park before picking up your airport transfer

Tips for travelling around New York with students

Transport

New York has an excellent public transport system for conveniently getting round the city by subway. We can provide pre-purchased tickets. We can arrange coaches if you wish to tour the city sites in the comfort of your own coach. 

Excursions

With so much to see and do in New York we will work with you to plan your tour and pre-book all your excursions and activities. Entrance fees for many visits and Broadway shows can be pre-paid before travel. There are a number of workshops available for performing arts, art and business studies students.

Guides

We can book half or full day guides to enhance your experience for walking tours or coach tours. There are a number of suggested itineraries to choose from.

Food

We can arrange breakfast in your hotel (if available) in a local café or a packed breakfast delivery service. Evening meals can be pre-booked at themed restaurants such as The Hard Rock Café, Planet Hollywood, Buca di Bepo and Bubba Gump.
