Day 2

Breakfast own arrangements
Explore Capitol Hill, Capitol building and Visitor Centre, Supreme Court and Library of Congress, National Archive.
See the outside of the White House, and the Visitor Center
View the Korean, Jefferson and Martin Luther King Jnr Memorials
Union Station - evening meal own arrangements

Day 3

Breakfast own arrangements
Washington Monument
Smithsonian museum eg National Museum of American History
Arlington Cemetery -Tomb of the Unknown Soldier - and Iwo Jima Memorial
Evening meal own arrangements

Day 4

Breakfast own arrangements
Smithsonian museum (eg Museum of the American Indian or Holocaust Museum) or Newseum (flight time permitting)
Airport transfer included
Overnight flight to the UK

Day 5

Arrive UK

Don’t miss the changing of the guard ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The Smithsonian museums are all free of charge. Union Station has an international food court.
