The Chateau du Molay provides the perfect environment for any sports group wishing to develop their skills and bond as a team. Our brand new football/rugby pitch and multi-purpose sports court are ideal for training and playing and our healthy eating programme will give your group the energy that they need for the whole day.

Our new surface is endorsed by superstar groundsman Jason Booth, head groundsman at the Headingley Carnegie Stadium in Leeds - home of Leeds Carnegie RU side who play in the Guinness Premiership and RL Super League Champions: Leeds Rhino's.

Orienteering
Once you've mastered how to use a map and compass you'll never get lost again! This is a great opportunity for pupils to race against each other as they search for fixed grid references and compass points.

Blind Trail
This is great fun and requires trust, team work and a high level of communication. Participants take it in turns to lead their team through a rope course, in between trees and around obstacles all whilst blind-folded!

Initiative Exercises
We've created lots of fiendishly deceptive schemes to encourage lateral thinking and teamwork. With the help of a trained chateau instructor see if your team can work out: Giant's Fingers, Birthday Bench and the famous Spider's Web!

Brand NEW Multi-sports Court
This fantastic playing surface can be used for: basketball, 5-a-side football, tennis and netball. Instructors can help to arrange mini-tournaments and give advice on how to play and how to improve. All equipment is available upon request.

Archery
We have three archery targets safely located within the chateau activities area. All young archers will be closely supervised by our trained instructor and will learn about several aspects of modern archery including safety and bow work.

Chateau du Molay
Location: The magnificent Château du Molay is set in 38 acres of private parkland in the beautiful Normandy countryside, 14kms from Bayeux and 15kms from the coast and D-Day landing beaches
Facilities: The Château offers accommodation for up to 195 persons in 42 rooms furnished to a high standard, all offering full private facilities. Other benefits of this substantial property include a number of meeting rooms, a library, a games room, a TV lounge area, a classroom facility and a bar.
An outdoor heated swimming pool is available from the end of May to the beginning of September and other on-site activities include: archery, tennis, 5-a-side football, basketball and use of our brand new Grade A rugby/football pitch.
