Since the late 19th century the town of Lourdes has been the focus for Christians all over the world. This is thanks, in part, to the spring water flowing from the cave that is believed to have healing properties. As Lourdes is set within the foothills of the Pyrenees this is a fantastic destination to explore the beautiful natural environment as well as making the pilgrimage to the famous grotto.
