Nepal
Established in 1973, the Royal Chitwan National Park provides a great wildlife experience with its rich flora and fauna. While the dazzling high ridges, glaciers, alpine meadows and valleys of the Himalayan Mountains are an amazing experience for any educational tour.
Lourdes
Christians have made the pilgrimage to Lourdes in search of a fresh water spring that is said to hold healing properties. The background setting of the Pyrenees also mean that Lourdes has many other beautiful natural features and presents a really worthwhile trip for all groups studying RE.
Rome
Rome has some fine examples of architecture including the Piazza del Campidoglio by Michelangelo and the Palazzo Senatorio, seat of the city government. You will also find many other important sites such as the Roman Forum, the Colosseum and the Vatican City containing the Sistine Chapel.
Western Turkey
A wonderfully diverse country; Turkey has an incredible selection of arts, classical sites, mosques and mosaics, while the food and scenery are spectacular. Visit World War I battlefields and baffling bazaars or just relax on the beach - an ideal destination with educational travel in mind.
