New York has architecturally significant buildings in a wide range of styles. These include the Woolworth Building, an early gothic revival skyscraper and The Chrysler Building in the style of Art Deco.

  • The Skyscraper Museum

This building was designed using the Beaux-Arts style by Daniel H. Burnham & co. It was one of the tallest buildings in New York when it was finally completed in 1902. The building is considered by some to be the oldest surviving skyscraper in Manhattan. Its strong foundations and fantastic architectural work make it an un-missable New York landmark.

  • Empire State Building

The world Famous Empire State Building stands a quarter of a mile tall above Manhattan. At 1,050 metres, above busy roads and streets, you will be stunned by the magnificent views on show whilst in the observatory. You also have the opportunity to visit the two flight simulators, called Transporter and New York Skyride; both of these are highly enjoyable and would offer an informative and exciting insight into New York City.

  • Four Times Square

Located within this square is the Condé Nast Building, a 48-story skyscraper. It is a fantastic example of modern development as it's the first skyscraper to embrace standards for energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and sustainable material use as well as responsible construction, operations and maintenance procedures.
