    The museum pays tribute to Yokohama's history as a silk trading port, with all aspects of silk production covered and some lovely examples of silk kimonos and sashes.
     

  • Sugino Costume Museum

    The permanent collection of the museum contains contents that belong to the founders, Shigeichi and Yoshiko Sugino, and covers four themes: Japanese, Western, Ethnic and accessories.
     

  • Bunka Gakuen Costume Museum

    This appealing museum promotes fashion research and knowledge through the use of historical costumes. The collection is broad and extensive and the international section includes textiles and costumes from the late 17th to early 18th century France, England and Jordan. Fashion students will find the museum pleasing as well as learn a great deal about fashion history.
     

  • Ginza Fashion Area

    The shopping district is considered the high fashion centre of the city and contains many upscale shops and restaurants. Easily accessible, the area includes cheap boutiques, mid-market shops and high end designer outlets. Along with the shops, there are also many entertainment venues such as bars and clubs, restaurants, hotels, theatres, galleries and cafes to choose from.
