Whether it is travelling to explore a uniquely different destination or to watch football abroad, the desire to travel is always there. Some things don’t change – when I think back to my first school trip abroad and consider the trips I have taken in recent years, there remains aspects of travelling that stays the same no matter your age. Travelling is a chance to develop your cultural awareness and interpersonal skills and truly brings learning to life. To be able to bring together my travelling experiences, learn about new places to explore and to communicate them so that staff and students can realise the many learning opportunities open to them is a truly fulfilling experience. The hope is that while I can paint a picture of the fantastic destinations we offer, my words will inspire you to visit the sites yourself as part of your educational tour abroad.
Favourite city: I have to go for Barcelona as my favourite city. The region of Catalonia is very special to me having studied it for two years. There is so much to do in Barcelona and I consider the people to be unique. Warm and friendly, they are very proud of their city and are eager to share with you their culture and iconic sights. It is a city that truly justifies the name The Passion.
About me: Beyond travelling and ticking as many football stadia off the list my love for sport goes beyond just football and The Albion! I like to keep active and find boxing at my local ABC to be a great way to keep in shape.
