Droitwich Spa High School travelling to New York, February 2020

“The level of patience, support, friendliness and skill demonstrated by Ali in the run-up to the trip was exceptional. She was consummately supportive, helpful and answered all manner of queries! The programme was put together brilliantly, and the itinerary felt incredibly smooth because of the brilliant planning at your end. We were caught up in Storm Ciara, but your colleague on the emergency duty desk at Travelbound was brilliant; speaking to me repeatedly and offering advice and support throughout. She acted swiftly, with Ali, to adapt our programme and contacting places in NYC to ensure the programme was fulfilled despite the loss of 24 hours in the city. They loved the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island boat; found the 9/11 Museum incredibly moving and loved photos up the Top of the Rock.”

Benefit from expertise

With many Local Education Authorities (LEAs) and governing bodies refusing trips with companies who do not hold the appropriate accreditation, it is becoming increasingly important for groups to book with trusted school travel specialists. This can include companies who are pre-approved on the EVOLVE school trip management system – EVOLVEvisits.

In addition to being members of the Federation of Tour Operators (FTO), all our tours are fully bonded by ABTA and ATOL meaning your group are protected against unforeseen events. We also have a comprehensive Incident Management Plan maintained to cover emergency situations and a Safety Management System (SMS) structured around the recognised Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle.

Providing peace of mind to plan ahead and book an unforgettable school trip for your school, our stringent series of procedures underpin our commitment to health and safety for groups. As part of this pledge, we are assessed annually by an independent authority appointed by the STF and regularly review our health and safety procedures.
