Favourite destination: Kenya, one of the most incredible experiences of my life. As a student, I travelled from Nairobi into northern Kenya, where we met local tribes, trekked mountains, and explored breathtaking landscapes. It was a school trip that has stayed with me ever since.
Fun fact about themselves: I love sea swimming and took on the challenge of swimming around Brighton Pier for charity. Being out in the open water, surrounded by the sea with the pier towering above me, was both exhilarating and slightly eerie, but that’s exactly what made it so memorable. I loved every minute of it!
Best travel tip or piece of advice for students: Having worked in travel for over 12 years, my top tip is simple: always perform the ‘International Traveller’s Dance’ before leaving anywhere. It involves patting your pocket for your phone, checking for your passport, grabbing your bag, and then enjoying a brief moment of panic before confirming you do, in fact, have everything!
