Safety first

Safety is central to how we support educational travel. Travelbound works with trusted accommodation providers, coach partners and activity suppliers experienced in hosting school groups. Teachers receive detailed risk management information to help them prepare safely and confidently. We operate a 24/7 support line while groups are away, giving schools direct assistance whenever it’s needed.

Teachers and group leaders remain responsible for supervision throughout the trip. Our role is to underpin their planning with safe systems and clear information.

Accommodation and meals

Travelbound accommodation is selected for:

  • Safety
  • Suitability for young people
  • Location close to key visits

Accommodations are safety checked in advance of groups travelling.
Meals are planned with busy learning days in mind, with dietary needs supported when shared in advance.

Communication while on tour

Before departure, schools typically share:

  • A trip overview or outline itinerary
  • Group Leader contact details
  • Emergency numbers
  • How and when updates will be provided

Each school sets its own communication approach.

Medical and dietary needs

To help teachers plan effectively, please ensure medical forms, dietary information and consent documents are completed accurately and shared with the school as early as possible. This allows the group to travel with confidence and ensures appropriate arrangements can be made in advance.
