St Gilgen Bandstand
Birthplace of Mozart’s mother, this delightful resort on the shore of Wolfgangsee hosts a popular summer concert series on its bandstand.

Mozart’s House, Salzburg
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born at 9, Getreidegasse on the 27th January 1756. His house has been turned into a museum where visitors can walk through the original rooms in which his family lived and see a range of original artefacts including historical instruments, documents and mementos.
Salzburg Cathedral
One of the city’s best-known landmarks, the ‘Salzburger Dom’ has a magnificent facade and mighty dome. Make sure you see the breath-taking organ and the font, once used to baptise Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Hellbrunn Palace
This Baroque Jewel is situated on the edge of Salzburg. A visit of the Palace with audio-guides can be arranged for groups. Make sure you include the large gardens in your visit and enjoy the water games and the fountain tricks!
Sound of Music Tour
Follow in the footsteps of the von Trapp family with a full day “Sound of Music Tour” including the Mirabell Gardens where Maria and the children sing “Do – Re – Mi”, the Leopoldskron Castle used as the Trapp family home, Hellbrunn Castle, Noonberg Abbey where the Baron and Maria got married in 1927, St Gilgen and Lake Wolfgang and the wedding church in Mondsee where the film wedding took place.
Sound of Music Show
This mesmerising show entertains its guests with a harmonic blending of songs form the Sound of Music movie, operettas and other excerpts of Salzburg’s musical past. During the show you can enjoy characteristic Austrian cuisine at a traditional restaurant.
Hallein Salt Mines
In Hallein, the oldest mine in the world open to visitors; everyone can follow the ancient miners’ tunnels for many kilometres into the mountains and experience how the miners used to live. Enjoy a ride on the mine railway; go down 2 miners’ slides and cross the underground lake on a raft. The visit also includes a tour of the Celtic Village.
Werfen Ice Caves
A true natural wonder, the Ice Caves are situated about 1 hour’s drive from Salzburg. Guided visits can be arranged for groups. Due to the steep gradient, the entrance to the Caves is reached by mini-buses and a chair-lift; some walking is also necessary. Make sure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear: it is chilly inside all year round!
