The lovely spa town of Badenweiler is very welcoming to visiting groups who are included in their calendar of concerts. The town offers the option of performing on the covered bandstand in the Kurpark with ample seating for the audience or in the Spa Concert Hall. Performances are advertised in the
Schönwald
We love this picturesque village which hosts summer performances in the local park in the evenings with the Uhrmacher-Ketterer-Halle as an alternative in case of bad weather; this Concert Hall takes its name from Franz Ketterer, a local resident who invented the first cuckoo clocks in 1737.
Bandstand on Lake Titisee
Play on the shores of the largest natural lake in the Black Forest. The covered bandstand performances are advertised by the local tourist office ensuring a large audience.
Europa Park Bandstand
Groups performing at this excellent theme park will receive free entry in return for entertaining other park-goers. Unmissable! A lively programme is preferred.
Freiburg Cathedral
Choirs of a high standard can sing at Mass in the City’s Cathedral. For groups wishing to perform outdoors, the Stadtgarten is a popular location in the centre of the city.
Jardin de deux rives, Strasbourg
These gardens straddle the Rhine (and the French-German border) between Strasbourg and Kehl and are linked by the Pont de l’Europe, symbol of the friendship between the two countries. A thriving programme of cultural events including outdoor concerts is arranged in the summer months.

Schonach Cuckoo Clock
The village of Schonach is in the heart of the Black Forest and well known for its beautiful hiking trails and winter sports. It’s also the home of the world’s largest cuckoo clock, weighing in at nearly six tonnes and over 4m in height. Your students will have the chance to explore inside the clock too and purchase a mini model to take home.
Triberg Waterfalls
Among the highest waterfalls in Germany and certainly one of the most magical locations – the Gutach River plunges over seven major steps into a plunge pool 163m below. The pathways leading to the site are rich in flora and fauna typical to the region.
Schauinsland Cable Car
We think this is the best way to reach the summit of Schauinsland Mountain. It’s Germany’s longest two-way cable car system and the ride to the top of the 1284m high peak is always one of the highlights of our trips to Freiburg. Aquafun Water Park
We never miss a chance to visit the outdoor adventure pools in Schluchseewerk. It’s the perfect way to unwind after a day of tours and rehearsals. Students of all ages find fun on the water slides, sunbathing decks and playing beach games like volleyball and polo.
