This early 20th-century castle is one of Toronto’s top visitor attractions and a popular film location. Built in 1914 by the financier Sir Henry Pellatt, this is a place where students can learn about the life and times of Henry Pellat and his family, explore secret passages and climb the towers for views across the city. Walk through the 800-ft-long underground tunnel photo exhibition to learn about the Dark Side of life in early 20th-century Toronto. Explore the gardens and see the vintage cars in the stables.

This historic market is a top Toronto attraction, full of speciality food and artisan shops. Opened in 1803, the market buzzes with locals and tourists alike. A chance to see local produce, sample a variety of delicacies and buy some presents for home. There is a Saturday Farmers Market and a Sunday antique market. (Closed on Mondays)
